This amazing wedding started an 18 day trip away from home, and what a way to start the trip. The first surprise was finding out the bride knew some of the same circle of people as I did, which is always a great, truly a small world.
Both Wendy and Erick were a true pleasure to work with. They were both relaxed and flexible to work with not to mentioned they had amazing bridesmaids and groomsmen that helped throughout the day which all contributes to the amazing photographs Liz and I were able to capture. This was my first opportunity photographing at Flushing Town Hall, and what an impressive venue. Although the weather limited some of the things we wished to do, the venue itself more than accommodated us for it. The cherry on top was the 1 hour that the rain ceased as the ceremony finished that allowed us to step outdoors for some of the formal portraits.
I’m blessed to have an amazing team and work with equally amazing & talented vendors, Darlin’s makeup work on Wendy and the bridesmaids was flawless and SoMar Event Company work in assisting us with logistics for the day was so impeccable, but also, their work in decorating the reception hall turned the space into a stunning arena to celebrate with the bride and groom. Thanks guys.
It’s often hard to just choose a handful of selects for these blog posts, there were a ton more I wish I could post, but here are just some of our selects of the day. To enjoy the entire wedding gallery please head over to http://galleries.laraphoto.com/romerowedding.
